On Tuesday morning (Mar. 28), Melville RCMP located a vehicle on the side of Highway 10, east of Melville, when they noticed the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was unconscious in the driver’s seat.
Officers saw evidence of drug use in the vehicle and began investigating; they also called in the Yorkton RCMP Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) for assistance.
The driver was arrested and was allegedly found to be in possession of 1 gram of fentanyl.
