Trial date set for Archerwill woman facing drug and weapon charges

An Archerwill woman was back in court yesterday (WED), in connection with the March 30, 2022 search of an Archerwill residence.

Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm.

39-year-old Holly Schweitzer was found not guilty of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking earlier this month, but yesterday, a trial for the remaining drug and weapon charges against her was set for April 13th and 14th, in Wynyard.

Her co-accused, 55-year-old Rudi Betthel, of Bjorkdale, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a home there in March of last year, will have a bail hearing next Wednesday (Apr. 5), in Saskatoon.
