Sentencing date set for man convicted in fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision

A George Gordon First Nation man, who admitted to his role in a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision, has appeared in court again.

Last April, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a collision on the George Gordon First Nation.

A 52-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, and she died in hospital.

22-year-old Ty Hunter had his matter heard in Punnichy yesterday (TUES), where it was adjourned to July 4th for sentencing.
