No charges have been made at this time, after a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision on the Red Earth Cree Nation.

Yesterday, Carrot River RCMP responded to the scene, where a school bus stopped to let a child out.

The child exited and was walking in the same direction as the bus, when he was struck by the bus.

Officers and EMS provided first aid to the boy, before he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The bus driver, who remained at the scene, and occupants of the bus did not report physical injuries.
