Saskatchewan To Continue To Use SAMA

The province of Saskatchewan continues to use the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency to develop, regulate and deliver a property assessment system.

SAMA is responsible for a 265-billion dollar property assessment base, and a 2.3-billion dollar property tax base.

The agency provides property assessment valuation services to 751 urban, northern and rural municipalities, which includes roughly 874-thousand properties in the province.

A full revaluation of all properties in the province takes place every four years, with the next one scheduled for January 1st, 2025.
