One person is dead after a two vehicle crash along Highway 10, south of The Pas early this morning (April 12).

At around 12:10AM, The Pas RCMP received a report that southbound semi-trailer crossed over into the northbound lane and collided with a northbound semi-trailer approximately two kilometers north of the Highway 60 junction.

The driver of the southbound semi, a 59-year-old male from Truro, Nova Scotia, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the northbound semi, a 22 year old man from Assiniboia was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the collision continues.
