Guilty plea from man charged in disturbance at Swan Valley Health Centre

A new development in the case of a Shoal River First Nation man, arrested following a disturbance at the Swan Valley Health Centre.

27-year Zackarias Brass pled guilty in Swan River last week, where he was sentenced to sixty days in jail, less time already served in custody, followed by one year of probation.

In March of 2021, Mounties were told that a suspect had damaged the ceiling in one of the hospital rooms, and was pulling fire alarms.

Officers arrested the man, but he resisted getting into the police cruiser, then continued his unruly behaviour in his cell at the RCMP detachment.
