The second of two Kisbey residents charged in connection with a drug and firearm bust in that community in 2021, will see her matters go to trial.
On November 23, 2021, officers searched a home in Kisbey, and seized a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
22-year-old Kiera Shingoose appeared in Carlyle Provincial Court on Wednesday (Apr. 12), and was committed to stand trial in Estevan Court of King’s Bench, at a later date.
Her co-accused, 22-year-old Demetrius Standingready of Kisbey, will also stand trial there, while last July, the third person charged in the case, 28-year-old Jordan Desjarlais of Regina, had the charges against him stayed.
