An update in the case of a woman arrested in connection with the search of a home in Archerwill.
On March 30, 2022, Mounties seized quantities of cash, several weapons, such as a machete, taser, and an illegally-modified firearm, and drugs including OxyContin and other assorted pills, along with crystal meth, and LSD.
Earlier this month, 39-year-old Holly Schweitzer of Archerwill, was found not guilty of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, but a trial on the remaining drug and weapon charges against her ran Thursday and Friday in Wynyard, and it was adjourned to continue this Friday (Apr. 21).
Her co-accused, 55-year-old Rudi Betthel, of Bjorkdale (BURK-dale), also faces similar charges, stemming from the March 2021 search of a home there, and he will be back in Saskatoon Court on May 11th for a bail hearing.
