Murder trial for Standing Buffalo F.N. man to begin Monday with jury selection

A Standing Buffalo First Nation Man charged with Attempted Murder, following an alleged assault on the reserve was back in court yesterday (TUES).

On June 22, 2021, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman at a home on the reserve, and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

24-year-old Christopher Maple is committed to stand trial by jury in Regina Court of King’s Bench.

The trial will begin next Monday (Apr. 24), with jury selection.
