Dauphin RCMP have provided an update after shots were fired in the city.

On Thursday, a 15-year-old boy opened fire on RCMP, and after a standoff at a Dauphin residence, five individuals were taken into custody.

A search of the home turned up four non-restricted firearms and several magazines that had apparently been modified into prohibited devices.

19-year-old Storm Gabriel, 19-year-old Jayden Peters and a 15-year-old male, all from Dauphin, face numerous firearm offences and were remanded in custody, while two other youth were released without charges.
