Health Foundation & GX94/FOX FM “Airwaves for Health” Radiothon breaks record in funds raised

It was a record breaking last couple days for the Health Foundation & GX94/FOX FM “Airwaves for Health” Radiothon.

Health Foundation Executive Director Ross Fisher announced this morning (Wed) that over the last couple days that the radiothon raised $343,242 dollars towards purchase of a Echocardiogram and ultrasounds machine for the Yorkton Regional Hospital.

Fisher also add the funds will go towards The Health Foundation and Parkland College’s new partnership in offering healthcare courses to train local students for positions that always have a shortage in rural Saskatchewan.

The total amount raised will continue to grow as until closing today (Wed), Helping Hearts are available for $2, $5, or $10 PLUS at Legacy Co-Op locations and  when you purchase a Helping Heart,  Legacy Co-op will match your purchase, and McDonalds promotion also continues as they are donating 10 cents from every hot beverage sold.
