More than a dozen break-and-enters in Broadview over the weekend are under investigation by the local RCMP detachment.
Police say they occurred between Friday (Apr. 28) and yesterday (SUN), and are believed to be committed by one male suspect, who gained entry to homes through unlocked doors and windows, and with the use of a crowbar.
Numerous items were stolen, such as groceries, alcohol, and several sets of vehicle keys , and in one instance yesterday morning, the suspect used stolen keys to take a 2020 Ford Expedition, which was later recovered in Moose Jaw.
The suspect is believed to be out of the area, but Mounties are asking the public to check any properties in the area, along with security videos, to help identify the culprit.
Anyone with information related to these break-ins, should contact the Broadview RCMP, at 306-696-5200, or Crimestoppers, at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
