One of two men arrested in Regina on theft and firearm charges in December is off the hook.
On December 12th, Regina City Police spotted a stolen vehicle, and two suspects fled on foot, but they were both eventually arrested.
20-year-old James Cyr, of the Punnichy district, appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday, where the charges against him were dismissed.
Last month, his co-accused, 18-year-old Dakota Button of Regina, pled guilty to Possession of a Prohibited Firearm and Possession of Ammunition While Prohibited, and was sentenced to one year in jail.
