Two Kisbey residents who have been committed to stand trial on charges stemming from a drug and firearm bust in the community in November of 2021, were back in Estevan Court of King’s Bench last Tuesday.

No trial dates have been set for 22-year-old Kiera Shingoose and 22-year-old Demetrius Standingready of Kisbey, but they will make their next pretrial appearances in Estevan K.B. on May 23rd.

Both remain in custody.

On November 23, 2021, Carlyle Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Kisbey, seizing a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
