A fake 911 call is under investigation by Indian Head RCMP.
On Tuesday, the RCMP received a call about a shooting inside a residence in Montmartre, and the caller said they were hiding in a room from the killer.
Mounties arrived, fully equipped with hard body armour, and several RCMP resources were engaged, before officers realized it was a hoax.
The true identity of the caller is unknown at this time, and Indian Head RCMP launched a public mischief investigation to determine the origin of the call.
