It was another busy year for Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline.
Over the past year, the hotline received 10.6-million website visits, well above the typical number of visitors, but fewer than the previous year’s record.
In addition, after the new smart-phone app was launched last November, the Hotline was downloaded more than 100-thousand times.
The Highway Hotline provides an interactive map that updates road conditions, indicates incidents on the highways such as motor vehicle accidents and road closures, and it provides advance warning about construction zones.
