SaskTel announced today (Mon) that they have begun work to bring their 5G network to the City of Yorkton

While the technology is now available in parts of the city, SaskTel said in a release most of the rest of Yorkton will have access to the 5G network by the end of March 2024.

Yorkton  mayor Mitch Hippsley said in the release that growth requires faster connectivity to our daily lives and businesses. Information & communication is the ‘key’ to prosperity & we look forward to having this delivered to the city.

The 5G network provides faster speeds and allows more people to connect on their devices.
