A Muskowekwan First Nation man ordered to stand trial on charges stemming from a shooting on the reserve, made another appearance in Regina Court of Queen’s Bench on Friday (May 19).

Punnichy RCMP say that in December of 2021, two men got into an argument at a home, and one was shot by the other.

The victim was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

35-year-old Donovan Oochoo’s trial by judge is set for January 15th of next year, with his next pretrial appearance coming up on July 28th.
