Virden RCMP responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision over the long weekend.
On Sunday, Mounties received a report of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 3, where a car was travelling at a high rate of speed when it lost control, rolled several times, before landing on its roof.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Brandon man, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident, and he was ejected from the vehicle.
He received emergency medical treatment, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
