Dauphin Traffic Stop Leads To Pair Of Arrests

A traffic stop in Dauphin over the long weekend led to the arrest of two individuals.

On Sunday, Dauphin RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Main Street South on a vehicle containing two adults and four children.

Officers observed a firearm in the vehicle and a search of the vehicle turned up two more loaded firearms.

A 32-year-old female from Ste Rose du Lac and a 24-year-old male from the RM of Ethelbert face several charges including Possession of a Firearm with a tampered serial number.

The female was released from custody for a later court date, while the male was remanded in custody.
