A Sioux Valley Dakota First Nation man has appeared in court again, on a charge of First Degree Murder.

On November 19th, Virden RCMP received a report of a disturbance at home on the Sioux Valley Dakota First Nation.

They found a 30-year-old woman with serious injuries, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

20-year-old Ernie Blacksmith was remanded in custody to Virden Court on June 16th.
