A man found guilty of charges in connection with an armed robbery on the Muscowpetung First Nation made another appearance in Regina Court of King’s Bench on Friday (May 19).
In March of 2019, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business on the reserve, and 29-year-old Jarrett Poitras was arrested on several charges, including Robbery with a Firearm.
He was convicted on several charges on June 17, 2021, but a warrant was issued, when he failed to show up the next day for sentencing.
He was arrested in February, and remains in custody, with a sentencing hearing set for June 2nd in Regina K.B..
