A new court date has been set for two Kisbey residents charged in connection with a drug and firearm bust in that community in 2021.

On November 23, 2021, officers searched a home in Kisbey, and seized a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

22-year-old Kiera Shingoose and 22-year-old Demetrius Standingready will both stand trial in Estevan Court of King’s Bench on drug and weapon charges.

They remain in custody, with their next pretrial appearance in Estevan K.B. set for June 20th.
