Another court appearance has been made by a Sakimay First Nation man, who admitted to an attempted break-in.

In Broadview yesterday (THURS), 25-year-old Austin Bellegarde was sentenced to 154 days in jail going forward, to be followed by one year of probation.

On January 7th, Broadview RCMP were called to the Cowessess First Nation, after a man had allegedly uttered threats and left the area with a firearm in a truck.

The suspect was later arrested at Cowessess, without incident.
