A hit and run on the Pine Creek First Nation remains under investigation.

On July 17th of last year, Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision, where a 24-year-old male from the reserve suffered life-altering injuries.

Later that day, officers responded to a vehicle fire in Camperville, where they found a 2013 Ford Escape with damage consistent with being involved in a front-end collision.
