A Yorkton man who admitted to child luring over the internet, has been sentenced.

27-year-old Mitchell Carpenter was in Yorkton today, where received 15 months in jail, to be followed by two years of probation.

Police said a man was luring a child in relation to an investigation last year through a popular online social media application.

Several electronic devices were seized for further forensic analysis, and police found child pornography.
