A new court date has been set for a man charged with Second Degree Murder in Canora.

In November of 2020, emergency crews were called to a Canora residence on a report of a one-year-old boy needing urgent medical care.

21-month-old Lorenzo Cote, of the Cote First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene.

25-year-old Waylon Severight, of the Cote First Nation, appeared in Yorkton today, where he was remanded in custody to November 24th.
