New court date for White Bear F.N. man charged in October 2021 drug bust

A White Bear First Nation man, facing charges stemming from an October 2021 drug and firearm bust, has made another court appearance.

26-year-old Jaymes Bigstone faces numerous charges, including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

He will be tried by judge alone, in Estevan Court of King’s Bench, though a trial date has yet to be set, but his next pretrial appearance will be on August 25th, in Regina King’s Bench.

In October of 2021, Carlyle RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on the reserve, where they seized over 36 grams of cocaine, two illegally modified firearms, drug paraphernalia, and cash.
