A dedication was held for the new Deer Park Clubhouse in Yorkton.
Mayor Mitch Hippsley says it’s surreal to see the finished product, calling it a jewel for the city.
Meanwhile, Managing Partner of Aodbt Architecture Mitch Strocen notes it’s special to see so much planning turn into the finished product, especially at a golf course he grew up playing on.
The 7.2-million dollar clubhouse took 14 months to build and it includes the installation of water and sewer.
In addition, the city named the patio, G.G.’s Patio, in honour of Garth Glauser.
Hippsley encourages everyone to check out the new clubhouse, noting it’s open to everyone whether for golf, cross-country skiing in the winter, or grabbing a bite to eat at the Owl’s Nest.
