One person is dead after a two vehicle crash near Plunkett.

Saskatoon RCMP responded to the scene, which blocked Highway 16 until 7pm last night.

The investigation determined that a five-ton truck was travelling westbound, when it collided with a cargo van.

The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 40-year-old man from Yorkton, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two occupants of the van suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
