A two vehicle collision in the RM of Elton claimed two lives and injured one other person.
Souris RCMP responded to the scene on Tuesday on Highway 10 just north of Highway 1.
The investigation determined that a southbound pick-up truck veered into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a semi, before both vehicles were consumed by fire.
The two occupants of the pick-up truck, a 38-year-old male and a 62-year-old male were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the semi, a 39-year-old man from Rivers, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
