Fort Qu’Appelle man charged in Regina armed robberies makes first court appearance

A man arrested after a pair of armed robberies in Regina last week, has made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court..

On Thursday (June 29), two suspects in a car attempted to steal a motorbike at gunpoint, but failed, then the same two suspects robbed a driver of a truck a short time later.

Regina Police found the suspects’ vehicle and a spike strip was used to stop the vehicle.

26-year-old Waylon Keepness of Fort Qu’Appelle faces several charges, including two counts of Robbery with a Firearm, and he remains in custody, to return to court tomorrow (WED).
