A 40-year-old man has been arrested and is facing a number of charges, in connection with incident on Wednesday on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
Anthony Charles Lowe has been charged with assault, mischief under $5,000, break and enter, plus two counts assault on a police officer.
He has been remanded back into custody for Monday in Punnichy.
Punnichy RCMP were called to the Muskowekwan First Nation on Wednesday night, for a report of a break, enter, and assault at a home.
Officers attempted to gain entry, but the doors were barricaded then the male began to throw several items at the responding officers from inside the residence and utter threats.
The female victim had sustained minor injuries as a result of the attack.
