Ebb & Flow F.N. woman charged in February 2022 drug bust in R.M. of Alonsa has a new court date

One of two women from the Ebb and Flow First Nation, arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in the R.M. of Alonsa, was back in court on Friday (July 7).

36-year-old Holly Baptiste had her matters adjourned to September 5th, in Dauphin.

Last month, 28-year-old Denee Baptiste pleaded guilty to Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and received a conditional sentence of two years less a day.

In February of 2022, Mounties used a spike belt to stop a vehicle near Bacon Ridge, and a search turned up 52 grams of crystal meth, six grams of cocaine, over one-thousand dollars in cash, and drug paraphernalia.
