A new court date has been set for a man charged in connection with a homicide on the Skownan First Nation.

On January 14th, Mounties were called to the reserve on a report of an assault.

When they arrived at the home, they located a 68-year old man, dead at the scene.

46-year-old Melvin Catcheway appeared in Dauphin Court Tuesday (July 11) charged with Manslaughter, and he was remanded in custody to next Tuesday (July 18).
