A 40-year-old man charged in connection to a report of a break, enter, and assault last week at a home on the Muskowekwan First Nation, has made his first court appearance.
Punnichy RCMP were called to the scene last Wednesday (July 5), and attempted to gain entry, but the doors were barricaded, and a male suspect began to throw several items at the officers, and was observed to be pointing what appeared to be a possible firearm toward the Mounties.
Anthony Charles Lowe of the Muskowekwan First Nation, faces a number of charges, including two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer, and he remains in custody, to appear again in Punnichy next Tuesday (July 18).
