Please be advised that effective immediately, users of Canora’s water distribution system are no longer permitted to use water for non-essential outdoor purposes. This applies to all Town of Canora residents and Canora Rural Public Utility Board (CRPUB) subscribers.

This means residents may no longer water gardens or lawns, wash their vehicles, fill swimming pools, or use water for other outdoor recreational purposes.

Water levels in the town’s reservoir have reached a critical low point and are not recovering sufficiently due to an unprecedented and prolonged increase in usage.

Town of Canora and CRPUB are exploring all possibilities to ensure their systems can return to a normal level of service as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
