Fort Qu’Appelle man charged in Regina robberies back in court

A Fort Qu’Appelle man remains in custody, after making another court appearance, in connection with a pair of armed robberies in Regina.

On June 29th, two suspects in a car attempted to steal a motorbike at gunpoint, but failed, then the same two suspects robbed a driver of a truck a short time later.

Regina Police found the suspects’ vehicle and a spike strip was used to stop the vehicle.

26-year-old Waylon Keepness made another court appearance Friday (July 28) facing numerous charges, including two counts of Robbery with a Firearm, and he’ll be back in Regina Provincial Court on Thursday (Aug. 3).
