An arrest warrant has been issued for a Regina woman, arrested in connection with an amber alert last summer.

On August 7, 2022, Regina Police were dispatched to a report of a woman taking her two-year-old son, whom she did not have custody of.

The suspect was arrested later that day in Regina, and the child was found unharmed.

36-year-old Kerry Keewatin failed to show up for her scheduled appearance in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (MON), prompting the judge to issue the warrant.
