A Waywayseecappo First Nation woman charged with Manslaughter, in connection with a death on the reserve last month has appeared in court again.

Early on the morning of July 5th, Manitoba Police Service members were called to a home on Church Road, where they found a seriously injured 23-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday (July 28) in Brandon, 25-year-old Talisa Brandon was released on conditions, with her next court date set for September 6th, in Waywayseecappo.

The victim’s name has not been released, and the investigation continues.
