Birch River woman back in Swan River Court in connection with break-and-enter

A Birch River woman remains in custody, facing numerous charges related to an incident last month in Swan River, has made another court appearance.

Around 12 a.m. on July 17th, Mounties were called out to a report of a possible impaired driver at a business on Main Street, involving a woman in a new, dark-coloured truck heading south.

Police located the vehicle on Second Street South, and when they tried to stop it, the vehicle sped away, and was later found abandoned, with heavy damage.

Just after 2 a.m., police were called to the same Main Street business, on a report that the same woman had returned, but in a new white truck, and the woman fled the scene.

Mounties say the business had been broken into with extensive damage done to it and several vehicles, including the two vehicles involved, which were found to have been stolen.

36-year-old Jamie Audy faces 14 charges, including Break and Enter, and Flight From Police, and will appear again in Swan River Court on September 6th.
