Chalene Gavel has been appointed the new President and CEO of Sasktel.

Gavel has been the Chief Financial Officer for SaskTel for 9 years, and prior to that she was the CFO at SaskTel International and held positions with other organizations including the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region.

The move comes after former President, Doug Burnett, announced his retirement in February of this year.
