Derel Walker’s run with the Saskatchewan Roughriders has come to an end.

The Riders released the 32-year-old veteran wide receiver today.

Walker has been dealing with a knee injury since Week Two, and had three catches for 28 yards in his lone appearance for the Green and White, in their season-opening win over Edmonton.

The Texas native was in his eighth CFL season and first with the Riders.
