22-Year-Old Man Sentenced in George Gordon First Nation Collision.

Sentencing has been handed down to a George Gordon First Nation man, who admitted to causing a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision.

In Punnichy Court yesterday (Tue), 22-year-old Ty Hunter received an 18-month conditional sentence, to be followed by 12 months of probation, and a two-year driving ban.

In April of last year, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a collision on the George Gordon First Nation.

A 52-year-old woman had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, and she died in hospital.
