A guilty plea has been entered by a Wynyard man, arrested in connection with a firearm incident in the town.
On July 13th, RCMP were called to a local bar, after a man was reportedly in possession of a firearm and threatening people.
The suspect gave himself up without incident, and the firearm was determined to be a revolver replica with pellets in the chamber.
In Wynyard Court yesterday (Thu), 46-year-old Justin Gillis was sentenced to ten months of probation, a two-year firearm ban, and the weapon was forfeited to the Crown.
