The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is out with their weekly award winners from the past week, and a member of the Melville Millionaires was honoured.
17 year old forward Kole Keen was named as the league’s Rookie of the Week.
The White City, Saskatchewan product netted his 1st SJHL goal over the past week, while also adding three assists in three games in helping the Mils sweep their Highway 10 rivals, the Yorkton Terriers over the weekend.
Keen in his 1st season, currently 1 goals, 6 assists for 7 points in 7 games.
Other weekly award winners from this past week included Humboldt’s Kody Thue (MVP/Defenceman of Week), Braxton Buchberger of Nipawin (Saskatchewan player of week), Flin Flon’s Harmon Laser-Hume & Kenneth Marquart (Goalie of the Week) and Justin Lies of the Flin Flon Bombers (Forward of the Week).
