An update regarding two Kisbey residents charged in connection with a drug and firearm bust in that community in 2021.
On November 23, 2021, officers searched a home in Kisbey, and seized a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
22-year-old Kiera Shingoose and 23-year-old Demetrius Standingready were both to stand trial in Estevan Court of King’s Bench on drug and weapon charges.
Shingoose remains in custody after appearing Monday, with her matters adjourned to December 18th.
Standingready appeared on Tuesday, and was sentenced to two years less a day in prison going forward..
