The Saskatchewan NDP has chosen a candidate to represent the party in the Yorkton constituency in next year’s provincial election.
Long-time Yorkton resident Lenore Pinder was nominated by fellow party members last night.
Pinder has spent more than 20 years working in the province’s health care system.
She is also an active volunteer, having served on many community boards, and as a school board trustee, from 2009 to 2012.
The next provincial election is set for October 28, 2024.
