Last night, around 7:50 PM, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 10 east of Fort Qu’Appelle.
The result of the two-vehicle crash claimed the lives of two victims.
The driver of the car was declared dead at the scene by EMS. She was identified as an 83-year-old female from Yorkton, SK.
The driver of the other car was also declared dead upon arrival by EMS. He has been identified as a 53-year-old man from Lestock, SK.
Three other occupants were in the vehicle, one was transported to hospital with serious injuries, and the other two were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Highway #10 was initially closed during the investigation but has since re-opened.
